We Exist to Make Disciples of Jesus by Reaching and Teaching. Eternity is forever, so we reach our neighbors with the good news of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection for their rescue. And everyone needs deep life change, so we teach and train believers to become mature disciples of Christ.

The Track

Following Jesus is like running a marathon until we reach heaven. At Bayview, this marathon is like running around a track week after week: we come, connect, grow, and go. This is the rhythm of following Christ together.

Come

We long for deeper fulfillment, which only our soul's infinitely satisfying Maker can provide. At Bayview, we gather each week to worship this great God through prayer, singing, teaching, partaking in the sacraments, giving, and hearing His Word. Come by this Sunday.

In a world filled with digital connections, people are more isolated than ever. At Bayview, we create a space for genuine, honest relationships where everyone is welcomed through grace through Jesus. Join us as we gather in groups, build real friendships, discuss what matters most, and care for each other.

Grow

We all need to grow and none of us have it all figured out. Bayview is dedicated to helping you become a mature follower of Jesus and equipping you to use your gifts for His kingdom. Train and serve with us to become more like Jesus.

Only Jesus can rescue us, and the good news of His life, death, and resurrection is the key to lasting life. The gospel rescues, transforms, and sends us. Partner with us in sharing God’s good news with everyone around us.

What We Believe

What you believe about God, yourself, and the world shapes your life; it’s not just a set of abstract ideas. Without the foundation of doctrine, faith becomes thin and powerless, unable to transform your heart or anchor you during difficulty. Bayview is a member of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, a church committed to all of Scripture for all of life. Our core theology is best captured in the Westminster Standards.

Jason Vartanian

Pastor

Jason currently serves as the pastor of Bayview. He and his wife Caitlin are coastal southern California natives and have been serving together in ministry for ten years, taking them from Encinitas to the UK and back to San Diego. They have three young children (Samuel, Jane, and Betty), love great food and the beach, and live in Eastlake. Jason studied at Calvary Chapel Bible College, holds an MDiv from Westminster Seminary California and a PhD in New Testament from Cambridge University.
