Giving Questions
How does Bayview use my gift?
Bayview stewards your gifts with accountability, transparency, and wisdom. Your generosity supports disciple-making through reaching and teaching at Bayview, while also funding foreign missionaries (Ukraine, Uganda, Haiti, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, Uruguay, Québec, and regions in Asia), church planting in Southern California, Bible translation, and pastoral training residencies.
Is my giving information secure?
It is certainly secure. Our online giving portal uses industry standard encryption (SSL/TLS) and follows strict compliance practices to ensure that all of your financial information is safe.
How much does Bayview pay in fees for gifts?
We pay 2.15% in credit card fees. If you'd like to help reduce these costs, consider giving via your debit card or cover the fee in your gift.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bayview accepts Zelle, PayPal, Bill Pay, ACH, credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash. You can make a one-time or recurring gift online.
What about tax deductions and IRS rules?
Bayview sends a receipt at the end of each year for anyone who gives a gift. For tax deductible contributions to be included for this year, digital gifts must be time stamped by 11:59pm on December 31st. Any gift mailed via USPS must be postmarked by December 31st, but if you mail your gift through a private carrier, Bayview must open and receive it by December 31.
